Being a photographer in Prague means one thing – time to time you get inquiry from international travelers who want to capture their Prague vacation memories in an unforgettable and professional way. That’s what professional vacation photography is.
It’s kind of a fighting against the current trend of selfies which might seem cool now but can you imagine showing your pictures to your family 20 years from now? Think about it cause all you’ll have from present days will be some pretty boring and low quality selfies. Nah.. I just can’t identify with that.
I have always enjoyed these sessions with tourist. Big times! It’s quite exciting to show them around the city, suggest some interesting events and places as well as other hidden gems that are normally accessible just for locals. Sometimes the session ends up in a pub or a bar where we grab a beer or coffee and where we just talk and enjoy the day.
One day I asked myself: why not to provide such services to travelers in more countries?
And that was the moment when I came up with the idea for my new project localgrapher.com.
Localgrapher is a website where you can find a trusted professional vacation photographer wherever you are. The list contains over 50 photographers in more than 40 countries and we are growing every day!
It doesn’t matter whether you travel to Cancún to relax on a beautiful beach, to Berlin to soak up some hipster atmosphere of the city, to Las Vegas to check out famous casinos or to the city that never sleeps, Hong Kong – our photographers are there to capture your trip in an unique and unforgettable way.
We are all really excited about this project and we hope that it will bring lots of great memories to many travelers!
Please contact me if you have any suggestions or comments about the project. We’re also constantly hiring photographers. If you’re a top quality photographer who has previous experience with photo sessions for tourist please drop me a line with the link to your portfolio and location. I will definitely contact you back if we like your work and we can discuss our possible collaboration further.
Cheers and don’t forget: #goodbyeselfies 🙂
